BYC-CUP第7戦は9月中のハーバー閉鎖のため10月17日に振替実施となった。
関西選手権か、アナウンス不足か、コロナ疲れか、昼前の出艇予定者は、森親子とKSYCの北村さんの2艇のみ。レースを中止し、森親子と北村さんの伴走にと夕凪の準備をしていたところ、関西選手権の和歌浦で15m超の強風により欠場した２名が戻ってきた。ちなみに秋山選手は3位に入ったとのこと。
琵琶湖でも、アメダス彦根で12mを超える風が観測され、敦賀方面から吹き抜けているようだ。幸い柳ヶ崎では北寄りの風４ｍ程度の順風となった。結局、5艇の参加で、上下のショートコースで5レースを実施。ラジアル、テーザー、Wetaと艇種も多様で、レースごとに順位が入れ替わる展開となった。 (GN)
